Drawing inspiration from her childhood in the Midwest, Katie aims to tell stories that make kids laugh, provide a sense of comfort, and transport them to other worlds.

Her most recent books, Moonie and Junie: Interstellar Pen Pals and Merpig, will be published this fall and are now available for pre-order.
